PATIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Provision of Information
    • The patient, to the best of his/her knowledge, shall be responsible for providing accurate and complete information about present complaints, past illnesses and hospitalization, medications and other matters relating to his/her health.
  2. Compliance to Instruction
    • The patient shall be responsible for following the treatment plan recommended by doctors, nurses and other health care professionals.
  3. Hospital Rules and Regulations
    • The patient has the responsibility to follow hospital rules and regulations and to see to it that his/her visitors do likewise. The patient shall cooperate in controlling noise, smoking, and the number of visitors.
  4. Respect and Consideration
    • The patient must be respectful and considerate of the rights of other patients and the hospital personnel. Likewise, he/she shall ensure that the property of other persons and that of the hospital be respected.
  5. Financial Obligation
    • The patient has the responsibility to pay his/her hospital bills promptly.
  6. Reporting of Complaints
    • The patient can actively help Davao Doctors Hospital improve the quality of patient care through recommendations, questions and/or complaints. The same should be reported to the customer
